Sodium discharge lamps with double burner SUPER DAT are characterized by a very long life span. They reach 56 000 hours with 70W power output. There is always only one burner in operation. Second burner starts operating in case of first burner failure. Burners change haphazardly in normal functioning. Another good feature is a warm start. That means that after switch off and repeated switch on in a hot state discharge lamp uses the cooler burner and immediate start is carried out. The "SUPER" technology is in accordance with EC 245/2009 regulation.
